Yes. Haven Health provides telehealth appointments to patients located anywhere in North Carolina. Our certified nurse-midwives are licensed in NC and can provide gynecologic consultations, birth control counseling, menopause management, gender-affirming care, fertility consultations, and more via secure video visits.
Many of our services can be provided via telehealth, including birth control consultations, menopause symptom management, hormone therapy follow-ups, fertility counseling, STI result reviews, gender-affirming hormone therapy management, PCOS management, and general gynecologic consultations. Some services like IUD placement, Nexplanon insertion, and physical exams require an in-person visit at our Greensboro office.
No. While our office is in Greensboro, we serve patients across all of North Carolina via telehealth. You only need to be physically located in NC at the time of your appointment. Patients from Charlotte, Raleigh, Asheville, Wilmington, Fayetteville, and every other NC community are welcome.
After scheduling through our patient portal, you will receive a secure video link. At your appointment time, you connect from any private location with internet access. Your provider conducts the visit just as they would in person — reviewing symptoms, discussing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and ordering lab work at a facility near you.
Yes. Prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice anywhere in North Carolina. This includes birth control, hormone therapy, antibiotics, and other medications prescribed during your visit.
Most insurance plans cover telehealth visits at the same rate as in-person visits. Haven Health accepts Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Carolina Complete, NC Medicaid, and is working on contracts with other plans. Don't have insurance?
